The Mountain Bike Life

For those of us in the northern regions of the world, we are into our last few snow-free weeks of mountain biking. The days are getting shorter and the temperatures are dropping. I had to cut tonight’s ride short due to the darkness. I think I will stop on my way home tomorrow and pick up a decent head lamp to prolong the inevitable. Perhaps your x-country season has transitioned into cyclocross season or you are eager to get out the fatbike for some snow fun and the coastal riders are preparing for the long rainy season. Don’t make excuses, just get out there and ride this weekend.

Leafy trails do make for unique and fun riding though, as well as the odd wipeout.
